This fabulous beginners workshop, introduces print-making technique favoured by fine artists A mono -print is a one off print - this course will show you how to create professional outcomes with found objects (sourced directly from natural flora in our garden ) Week 1 : We discuss the qualities of a monoprint? Introduction and application of materials and equipment; Process of ink prep and application to printing plate :frontage ,wax resist ,hand rendered, painting directly onto printing plate .Using the printing press to transfer ink to the found object . Use of Printing press to transfer found object into a one of a kind black and white print Week 2: Printing with 2 or more colours recap found object printing /positive, negative 2 colour and ghost prints .
